I farted around most of the day. I got a quote for an infotainment upgrade for the Sport Trac, including backup camera and Android auto, amp, and speakers. I am a cruel father. My son is sad because he does not want to give up the cassette player, and wants to repair the CD player. He said he likes putting the tapes in and just having to listen to the whole album. I told him we could look for a stock AM/FM cassette for the T Bird, which seems to placate him.
He had his first manual lesson on the road today. I promised him I would teach him when he got his license, and he is holding me to it. [ULTERIOR MOTIVE: Convince the wife that a new clutch is needed.] He did well.
I had planned on some light wrenching today, but it was too nice and I ended up just driving the Sunchaser around on errands. As you can see, I enjoy having no HOA, as I take full advantage of curb and yard for parking. No one says shit, as our ‘hood is full of driveway projects. One house has a perfect NSX, and another has 6 Miata!

I dunno if I’ve mentioned this before but I built a sub and amp box to go under the rear passenger seat of my old Sport Trac. I kept it when I sold it. Any interest?

I am disappointed in the lack of NSX and Miata images, but very satisfied with Sunchaser images.
Why do you want to upgrade the Sport Trac? I just don’t see the reasoning on spending the money if the driver of the car doesn’t want it.
